Given the high light intensity, images may be more quickly captured and multiple exposures easily obtained. The 2-component format is easily prepared and is provided with KPL's Wash Solution, futher enabling blots with excellent signal-to-noise.

The soluble blue product, produced in the absence of the stabilizing solution, is useful for ELISA assays.
