The BrightStar™ Duration HRP Chemiluminescent Substrate is a sensitive and long lasting luminol-based chemiluminescent two solution kit that may be used for any blotting applications utilizing horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibodies. The HRP substrates are compatible with various blocking buffers and can be applied on PVDF or nitrocellulose with low backgrounds. The HRP Western substrates come as a two component kit system for extended shelf-life. Visualization may be carried out through x-ray film or digital imaging system utilizing a CCD camera. This is a 15mL kit of 7.5mL luminol reagent and 7.5mL peroxide solution.

WesternSure PREMIUM Chemiluminescent Substrate is a highly sensitive, enhanced substrate for detecting horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on immunoblots. It has sensitivity comparable with SuperSignal West Dura for greater than 60 minutes post-incubation, it has the most intense signal with longest duration, and it is ideal for use with digital imaging systems. The substrate pack contains Luminol Enhancer Solution and Stable Peroxidase Solution.

MW 178.61 g/mol. Chromogenic peroxidase substrate that results in a precipitate that is blue to blue-purple in color and can be observed visually. Used for both western blotting and immunohistochemical staining. Can be used as a substitute in the myeloperoxidase stain for benzidine compounds, which are considered to be carcinogenic.
